I chose it for price - just needed to sleep before catching plane. It was relatively close to airport if you were familiar with interstate exit ramps and could travel before commuter rush.

Toilet ran all the time. I know how to fix, and I had to each time I used it. Reported it to management in the am (Room 220) - the float itself needs replacing.

  • Older travelers

Price, mostly, and the room itself was ok.

The location was kind of scary and desolate, the breakfast terrible, basically the place has a run-down atmosphere, although the room itself was clean and basically ok.

  • Older travelers

We had a mix-up on dates and arrived one day later than planned, the manager came to our aid and did not charge us a cancellation fee for the missed date ( which she was entitled to do ) and gave us the same low rate, They were Super. Great people.

    Nothing, everything was fine.

If you book airport shuttle, be careful. I booked them at 4:45am, but the driver arrived at 5:05am, and I almost missed the plane. They refused to print a receipt for the stay, pointing that I can print one out of Booked.net. Kind of bad practice.

  • Older travelers

Well the management was really rude on the first day she looked very exausted. I ask her if I will be getting a non- smoking room she said no I asked her twice. So we went up stairs surprise the floor and room smelled a really strong cigarate odor. So we packed up our stuff and I told the manager that assisted us. She was really rude ,she tried to raise her voice on me and told us give a few minutes until I find a other room. But the bad thing I about these we reserved the room a week in advance. So she did give us a other room next to the office; we checked it out it seem clean. But later in the afternoon we noticed that the restroom bathtub were not cleaned . Also the did not change out the covers ;because when covers are not changed for long period of time, static is attracted and stained covers.

Cheap hotel, so you can't expect something like a Marriott or Hampton Inn. But for $35 (and that includes tax) it's tough to beat! Nice showers with new shower head and curved shower curtain make for a good showering experience. Beds are decent, nothing amazing but nothing terrible either. I'd stay here again!

  • Older travelers

For the money, it was much nicer than I thought it would be. For less than 40 dollars a night, I was surprised at how good the breakfast was and the niceness of the rooms.

The haridryer didn't work. There was a light bulb burned out in the room

  • Family with children

I found that there was another Travel Lodge closer to my relatives during my stay so I ask the staff if I could transfer to that location. They insisted that I could not because of affiliation reasons.

  • Older travelers

    Clean rooms.

    Noisy neighbors--up half the night

  • Group of friends

Value for the money was definitely good, and the cleanliness and comfort of the room was good too, and much better than expected from the common areas (not as well maintained...).Free transport from and to the airport was an very good added benefit, although with some caveat (see below)

Common areas aren't very nice/clean/well maintained. Breakfast room is kind of small and breakfast just sufficient (but not worse than average in this kind of motel). If you plan to use the shuttle to/from the airport, allow plenty of time: it's not aregular service (they come when you call them) and arrival time can be as long as 45 minutes. Also, they sometimes forget and need to be called more than once. However, it is there and it's free... it allowed us to save one day of car rental! :-)

Free shuttle to and from the airport.

Horrible breakfast - everything was sugar, no fat or proteins at all, milk tasted like water, I would much rather pay those few dollars less for the hotel than have this kind of "free breakfast" included in the price.

  • Couple

Good hotel with decent facilities. Shuttle to airport was a bonus

    Disposable plates, cutlery for breakfast

Staff was very pleasant, conditions relatively good to the price.Breakfast was very poor, however you could get something.

Hotel location was completely different than was shown on Booked.net. I have problem to find it andit was about 5 miles far away from the airport.

  • Older travelers

    Location was good and quiet.

The internet didn't work well. The carpet had a huge sticky stain on it. The neighborhood was dirty and didn't feel very nice.

  • Older travelers

Charged for fridge even though telephone call confirmed n/C. Asked for wake up call - none! Waited 3 hours for fridge & micro to be delivered to room. Staff not helpful. Arrived back at hotel after 6pm on 1st day & room not finished being cleaned - beds half stripped. 2Nd day was worse - completely uncleaned when got back after 8pm. Had to nove everything to another room with no help from staff. New room had strong smoking smell, noisy a/c, curtains falling off window and electrical socket hanging away from wall with wires exposed bedise sink. Tried to talk to manager Mon am but it took her 8 minutes to help guests check out as she was busy cleaning up breakfast area & she asked us to just leave so other guests did not hear the problems. She did not even want to print a receipt!!! Horrible place to stay & actual address does not register on gps units (many guests were having the same problem). Difficult to find!
